I graduated from Graham High School in 1987. I am married to Alex Piper and I have 3 children and 1 grand-daughter. I have worked in several different supervisor roles as a line leader, shift coordinator, and assistant to plant manager after graduation. I obtained my degree as an Orthodontist Assistant and worked for Millay Orthodontist until acquiring my position at Central City Convention Center. Being in the health care field I immediately became a health and fitness nut. I began Martial Arts and instruction courses and classes. I became a personal trainer as well as a Mixed Martial Arts female competitor and received many Health and Wellness certificates and Medals. I traveled all over the United States and represented a sport that most people said a woman could not succeed in. I became a class instructor at Central City Convention Center when it opened in the fall of 2009 instructing Cardio Kick and formed the KidsFit Program in conjunction with Felix Martin Foundation and Muhlenberg County Board of Education. I assumed the executive director role in August 2010. I serve on the following boards: Vice President of the 4-H club, UK Extension Office board, Advocate for the National Center of Family Literacy, Felix Martin Fund Park’s and Recreation board member, SOAR , Central City Tourism - Chair, MC Health and Wellness committee, First Impressions board, Champions for drug free Community, Junior Achievement, Mentor Program, Central City Downtown committee for events and beautification projects.
